Scope of Work: The scope of the project was to build a new dual use path between Burns Beach Estate and Mindarie totaling nearly 10,000sqm. The scope of the project included: Clearing Vegetation Topsoil Stripping Bulk earthworks (20,000m3) through sand dunes Limestone Subbase Asphalt Pavement Kerbing Hardscaped Finished such as park benches. Final landscaping including coir matting, topsoil and mulch re-spreading. Special Features of Project: The unique part of this project was the limited access to the site. The future path site has no access from either end yet and before any work could commence over 1km of access tracks suitable for trucks needed to be constructed. The next challenge was conducting bulk earthworks involving deeps cuts and fills in dune sand through a narrow dual use path corridor. WCP managed cut to fill using 639 scrapers at reduced productions. Temporary turning and passing areas were established and managed carefully with site management plans. Access for asphalt laying required trucks to reverse large distance to be able to tip into paver. WCP worked with the client to alter the design to a thicker subbase for suitable constructability for laying asphalt on steep grades. Further to the access requirements WCP had to work with Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER) to carefully manage clearing within the Bush Forever Site 322. The site also intersected the Mindarie Waugal, a registered Aboriginal Heritage Area. Consultation was conducted with the Traditional Owners and an onsite heritage spotter for allocated to the project for the duration of bulk earthworks.

PROJECT OVERVIEW The Project provides 200kt of incremental permanent storage capacity with fixed in-loading equipment and addresses environmental issues experienced by growers de-tarping prior to sampling. · Mechanical works including bulkhead realignment, new conveyors including auger pit construction, concreting · Electrical works to connect new conveyors to existing site electrical system · Large scale earthworks (over 40,000 m3 of cut to fill) · Large scale pavement and sealing works—over 90,000 tonnes of gravel delivered, with 100,000 m2 of sealing and asphalt laid · Over 2,500 m2 of rock pitching in drains SCOPE OF WORK Construction of five new full specification sealed open bulkheads (OBH 01 to 03, OBH 08 and OBH 09) with 1.8m frames (between 265m and 410m). Civil earthworks and formation of bulkhead pavements, intersections, and access roads. Access roads and tie into existing facilities. Construction of a de-tarping road prior to the sampling activity – inclusive of wind speed indicator. Modify drainage basin – to win local fill. Installation of 2 x CBH supplied Auger Pits and Conveyor Loading Systems (CLS) plus necessary support equipment including but not limited to trippers, stackers, compressor slabs, compressor and MCC. SCOPE OF WORK Prepare and implement throughout construction all required management plans including site, dust, noise and vibration, traffic, quality, emergency and safety management. Clearing trees and preparatory reticulation works Demolition of existing kerb, signs/rails, pavement, driveways/paths Strip topsoil and earthworks to establish design subgrade levels New subbase and basecourse preparation New drainage structures including soakwells, RCP and connection to existing stormwater drainage Kerbing, brick paving, concrete ramps and paths Three different asphalt mixes as well as primerseal Temporary linemarking and signage works plus spotting for MRWA work Traffic control for duration of works

Scope of Work: Staged pavement and verge demolition works to enable reconstruction – whilst maintaining through traffic past our works. Complex traffic control arrangement to enable safe transit around our works for both vehicular traffic and significant volumes of pedestrian traffic due to the nearby beach access paths. Significant electrical works package including new street lighting installation. Significant landscaping package within medians including irrigation works. Very high-quality finish on kerbing and coloured concrete package Over 3,000 tonnes of asphalt laid by WCP Civil in-house Asphalt crew. This project involved duplication of incoming lanes to the Whitfords/Northshore intersection roundabout, including reconstruction of the roundabout itself to create 2 lanes in each direction at each leg. Additional works included improving drainage and resurfacing the existing adjacent carpark, significant portions of new red asphalt shared paths, new median lighting and median landscaping including irrigation systems. A significant number of house dilapidation reports and constant communication with local homeowners was a pivotal part of completing the works with minimal disruption and negative effect on the locals. Due to the works location being directly adjacent sand dunes, dust was a ongoing issue on the project which WCP Civil dealt with by having watercarts on site full time and immediately responding to the City’s requests for dust suppression.

PROJECT OVERVIEW With partial funding from each of the Black Spot Program and the MRRG program, Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale engaged WCP Civil through tender to reconstruct and widen their existing road. This involved widening the road and reconstruction of full width existing surface. WCP Civil proposed to complete the works on a full closure and detour which worked well and ensured the utmost safety of workers and all stakeholders. SCOPE OF WORK Prepare and implement throughout construction all required management plans including dust, traffic, quality, emergency and safety management. Clearing & Pruning of existing trees and vegetation Demolition of existing redundant drainage, pavements, kerbs Boxout and replace shoulders Top up existing road to improve drainage depth, reduce undulations and increase percentage of good quality materials in the pavement Drainage upgrade including reshaping table drains as well as new headwalls, pits, pipes and rock pitching Emulsion Primerseal & Two Coat Seal on Widenings Kerbing to intersections Traffic control – using WCP Civil in-house traffic crew MRWA spec asphalt by in-house WCP Civil crew

PROJECT OVERVIEW City of Albany engaged WCP Civil to upgrade the existing Lockyer Ave and resurface with asphalt as well as civil improvements throughout. The project had to be undertaken wholly as nightworks with restrictions on working hours due to the high vehicle and pedestrian traffic volumes with multiple businesses open late. Given the proximity of works to local businesses, WCP has to liaise carefully throughout the works to ensure that access was still achievable and that minimal disruption was caused. SCOPE OF WORK Prepare and implement throughout construction all required management plans including site, dust, noise and vibration, traffic, quality, emergency and safety management. Demolition of existing kerb, signs, pavement, driveways/paths New subbase and basecourse preparation New drainage structures including soakwells, RCP and connection to existing stormwater drainage Kerbing, brick paving and concrete ramps and paths Three asphalt mixes as well as primerseal Temporary linemarking and signage works plus spotting for MRWA work Traffic control for duration of works
